Our Mission

To build a community where no one faces mental health challenges alone.
We empower the people of Woolwich, Greenwich, and beyond to become champions of mental wellbeing. By bridging the gap between formal services and daily life, we create a supportive network that fosters understanding, dismantles stigma, and ensures early, accessible support for all.

Why Support Bridgewell

Supporting Bridgewell means investing in a grassroots model of mental health care that works from the inside out. While traditional services are essential, they often cannot reach everyone in time or in a way that feels safe, familiar, and culturally understood.

That’s where we come in. We train and empower local people to become Mental Health Champions, creating a lasting network of support embedded within the community itself.

Your support doesn’t just fund a programme it strengthens the very fabric of Woolwich and Greenwich, building resilience, reducing isolation, and ensuring that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.

By helping us bridge the gap, you are helping to create a community that looks out for one another, now and for the long term.
